Description
18,000 rpm is rare on a horizontal machining centre from 2011. The Mazak HCN 4000 II brings it — at 30/22 kW drive power in SK40.
The pallet station takes two pallets of 400 × 400 mm, and the axes travel 560 / 640 / 640 mm. The chain magazine holds 80 tools.
The rotary table indexes to 0.001° over 360,000 positions. Coolant through the spindle at 15 bar, tool length measurement, a chip conveyor discharging to the rear and the preparation for Mazak Monitoring B with a Renishaw OMP60 belong to the equipment.
