MAZAK VTC-760-C – sold
The Mazak VTC-760-C (VTC 760 C) is a travelling-column machining centre with a long table. X travel measures 1,740 mm, plus 760 mm in Y and 660 mm in Z. The milling spindle delivers 18.5 kW at 12,000 rpm with an SK-40 taper. The magazine holds 30 tools up to 8 kg, 350 mm long and 80 mm in diameter, or 125 mm with adjacent pockets free.
The machine came with coolant through the spindle and a 15 bar high-pressure pump. Added to this were preparation for Mazak Monitoring B with a Renishaw OMP60, tool length measurement and a Mayfran chip conveyor. A Kitagawa MR250 with three-jaw chuck and tailstock served as the fourth axis. This machine has been sold.
