DMG MORI NL 1500 SY

You will find this lathe under both names: as a Mori Seiki NL 1500 SY and as a DMG MORI NL1500SY. It is the same machine, built in 2006.

Main and counter-spindle each deliver 15 kW at 6,000 rpm on an A2-5 nose, and bar stock up to 52 mm passes through. Turning goes up to Ø 386 mm and 515 mm in length; the Y axis travels 100 mm.

The turret offers twelve stations, two of them driven, with 5.5 kW up to 6,000 rpm. An automatic parts catcher and a chip conveyor are fitted, and the control is an MSX-850.
