The Hedelius RS 505 impresses with its well thought-out machine concept: an integrated rotary/tilting table unit on the right-hand side enables full 5-side and 5-axis simultaneous machining, while the permanently installed machine table on the left is available for classic 3-axis tasks. Thanks to the optionally installed work area partition wall, pendulum machining is also possible, so that one side can be loaded or unloaded while the other is productively in use – a clear productivity advantage for series and small-batch production.

Technical highlights

The machine offers generous travels of up to 1,250 mm in X (long operation), 510/315 mm in Y and 480 mm in Z. The water-cooled Celox main spindle delivers 19.0 kW / 100 Nm with a speed range of 50–12,000 min⁻¹, combined with a 33-station tool magazine for high machining flexibility. The system is controlled via the proven Heidenhain iTNC 530.
