Technical data

The Mazak QT Nexus 100-II MSY (year of manufacture 2009) is equipped with the Mazatrol Matrix control. It machines workpieces with a maximum turning diameter of 280 mm and a maximum swing diameter of 550 mm. The travels in X/Y/Z/W are 185 mm, 100 mm, 455 mm and 460 mm. In rapid traverse, the machine reaches 30/21/33/30 m/min in X/Z/W.

The main spindle (AC 11) with A2-5 spindle nose reaches a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm. The counter spindle (AC 11 kW, 25 % duty cycle) also turns at up to 6,000 rpm. The 12-station tool turret has 12 driven tool stations with 5.5 kW and a maximum speed of 4,500 rpm for the driven tools.

The equipment includes Tooleye for tool measurement, chip conveyor, coolant pump, automatic door and an interface for robots. A tool holder package with 8 fixed and 3 driven tool holders is also included in the scope of delivery. The machine carries the CE marking and is supplied with documentation.
