DOOSAN PUMA 400 MB – sold
The Doosan Puma 400 MB (PUMA-400MB) is a lathe with driven tools. The turning diameter is 560 mm, the turning length 978 mm. The main spindle delivers 30/22 kW at 2,000 rpm and takes bar stock up to 117 mm. Twelve driven tool stations work with 7.5 kW up to 4,000 rpm.
Equipment included a tailstock, Tooleye, an LNS chip conveyor, two three-jaw chucks of 450 and 381 mm diameter and a tool holder package with four driven holders. Operating time was around 30,000 hours, cutting time about 6,000 hours. This machine has been sold.
